GamblerSay is a user-generated content (UGC) platform. Our mission is to surface honest, community-driven feedback about online casinos for the benefit of Canadian gamblers. We collect only the data necessary to operate that mission.

Platform Operation and Moderation

User Authentication and Account Management
To create and maintain user accounts, authenticate login sessions, and enable account-related functionality, such as editing or updating previously submitted content.
Communications
To respond to support inquiries, send transactional messages related to your account or submissions (such as moderation decisions), and, where you have opted in, to send platform updates or relevant announcements. You may opt out of non-transactional communications at any time.
Platform Integrity and Security
To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent submissions, spam, bot activity, and other misuse of the Services. Protecting the authenticity of community-generated ratings is central to our operating model.
Analytics and Product Improvement
To understand how users interact with the Site, identify usability issues, and improve the platform’s features and performance. Where possible, analytics data is aggregated or anonymised before review.

4.5 Publicly Submitted Content

Do not include personally identifiable information in your review text if you do not wish it to be publicly visible. Our platform includes an automatic detection feature that flags and redacts sensitive personal data inadvertently included in review text or uploaded screenshots.

- Published reviews are community records. Deleting your account does not automatically remove your published content, which may be retained in anonymised form to preserve the integrity of the community record. You may contact us to request the removal of specific content.
- Server logs and moderation records are retained for up to 12 months for security and fraud investigation purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
- Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months or as required by applicable legal obligations.
7. Security of Your Information
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and regular review of our security practices.
